Pavers

Pavers are made from a "zero slump" concrete mix comprised of 6mm washed aggregate, block sand and Portland cement. Manufactured under pressure and high frequency vibrations, pavers are very durable and are stress and frost resistant. Under normal residential use, pavers should last over 30 years.

Our pavers are offered in a variety of unique interlocking shapes allowing for an abundance of creative possibilities. Dirty or broken stones can be easily replaced and entire areas of pavers can be taken up and then reused making landscape changes or repairs to underground utilities simple and worry free.

Retaining Wall Systems

A retaining wall is a structure that is built to hold or retain the soil behind it. They are most often used on sloped areas where rainfall can cause soil and other materials to slide down the slope and gather at the bottom. With the construction of a retaining wall, the soil, rock or mulch is held in place and prevented from washing out when there is heavy rain. Split face block

• SIMPLICITY - This wall system is extremely easy to set up by any contractor or do-it-yourselfer using basic tools and knowledge.
• FLEXABILITY - The components are small enough to allow the wall to be built in a curve or circular pattern. This feature allows the designer freedom to make the wall flow and harmonize with its surroundings.
• DURABILITY - This wall system is designed to retain an embankment up to 40 inches high when installed with proper drainage behind the wall. The lapped joint prevents the rows from sliding out over the row below it.
• APPEARANCE - The wall block are available in red, brown, light gray and dark gray. This choice of colour allows the owner to blend with surrounding colours. The natural-ashlar-split face surface gives a natural look, unlike the smooth faced block of other manufacturers.

Cottage wall block

• Cottage wall retaining blocks are manufactured in Bridgewater, N.S.
• Available in 4 colors
• Dimensions: 17.5" wide; 6" high; 7" deep
• Weight: 51 lbs
• Wall heights are normally 30" without additional engineering and geosynthetic material
